Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we'll take a look at this Curt Custom Fit Fifth Wheel Installation Kit with the dark gray base rails for your Ford Super Duty trucks. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2017 and newer Ford F-250, F-350, and F-450 Super Duty trucks without the OEM prep package. Now, this kit is a complete installation kit, allows you to install a fifth wheel to your truck bed.

It will include everything shown here on the table. It includes the custom fit side mounting brackets right here. The base rails. Comes with all the hardware you need for installation. Has a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how it all goes together.

And because the fit on this is the Ford Super Duty trucks, they do have the aluminum bed. It does include this galvanic isolator kit which will include this roll of tape and in these squares, and these are designed to install between the aluminum bed of the vehicle and all the steel parts of this kit to help prevent galvanic corrosion between the two different materials. Now, the side mounting brackets, I wanna zoom in on. These are custom fit brackets. They're designed to mount beneath your truck bed.

And as you can see, they provide the attachment points for the fifth wheel rails to attach to. These parts are a black powder coat finish to resist corrosion. Now, they do provide a custom fit by mounting to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. If you notice some of these mounting brackets, they have holes already in 'em, so they'll line up with the holes in the frame, and that'll minimize the amount of drilling that's required. And, because of that, it'll cut the installation time in half when compared with the universal bracket kits.

Now, the base rails, which are these parts right here, these are what'll sit in your truck bed. They allow the installation of the fifth wheel trailer hitch to your vehicle. These rails are visible in your truck bed. They have a nice dark gray finish to 'em to match your color of your fifth wheel hitch. And these rails are industry standard rails which means they're compatible with BMW, Curt, Draw-Tite, Reese, and Husky Above Bed Fifth Wheel Trailer hitches.
