Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1997 to 2004 Ford F-150 Light Duty trucks, and the 1997 to 1999 Ford F-250 Light Duty trucks. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this will work for your application. This kit here is a complete installation kit.
It'll allow you to install your fifth wheel to your truck bed. The kit will include everything shown here on the table. We'll start with these side custom fit mounting brackets, the base rails, the hardware you need for installation, and a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how it all goes together. Now these custom fit brackets on the side, I want to zoom in on those and show you. These are designed to mount beneath your truck bed, and they provide the attachment points right here for your fifth wheel rails to attach to.
Now the finish on these is a nice black powder coat finish to resist corrosion. And they do provide a custom fit by mounting to existing holes that's in your vehicle's frame. If you notice the holes drilled in the brackets here, they'll line up with the holes in your frame, so it'll minimize the amount of drilling that's required, which in turn will cut the installation time in half when compared with universal bracket kits. Now the base rails, which are these items right here, these will sit in your truck bed. They allow the installation of the fifth wheel trailer hitch to your vehicle.
The rails are visible in your truck bed. These, if you notice, have a nice dark gray finish to them to match the color of your fifth wheel hitch. Now these are industry standard rails. They are compatible with B&W, CURT, Draw-Tite, Reese, and Husky Above Bed fifth wheel trailer hitches.
