Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2007 and newer Toyota Tundra trucks with the six and a half foot bed, excluding the crew cab models. And it is a custom fit part. So I do recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application.
Now this kit here is a complete installation kit. It allows you to install a fifth wheel to your truck bed. The kit will include everything shown here on the table. It includes the custom fit side mounting brackets here, the base rails, all the hardware you need for installation, even comes with, in this application, an extra bracket for the electrical box, and a nice set of detailed instructions that'll describe how it all goes together. Now these custom fit side mounting brackets, I want to zoom in on those, just to show you.
Basically on those, they're a custom fit bracket, they'll mount beneath your truck bed and they provide, as you can see, the attachment points for your fifth wheel rails. Now they do have a black powder coat finish on them to resist corrosion. And what's nice about it, if you notice the holes in here, they provide a custom fit by mounting to existing holes in your vehicle's frame. So these brackets will line up with the holes in your frame, so it minimizes the amount of drilling that's required, which in turn will cut the installation time in half when compared with the universal bracket kits that are out there. Now the base rails, which are these right here, these will sit in your truck bed.
They allow installation of your fifth wheel trailer hitch to your vehicle, and these rails are visible in your truck bed. If you notice these have a nice dark gray finish to them to match the color of your fifth wheel hitch. And these are industry standard rails that are compatible with B&W, CURT, Draw-Tite, Reese, and even Husky Above Bed fifth wheel trailer hitches.
