T-One Connection Location Points Behind Tail Lights

Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

2010 Saturn Outlook

I purchased this wiring harness to go on my 2010 Saturn Outlook to go with my new trailer hitch to tow our Boy Scout Troop's trailer for an upcoming campout. I watched the video a couple times before I attempted to install the harness. The video did a great job of showing how to install it. The main issue I had was fishing the wires from the tail lights to under my vehicle. The opening to run the wire through on my vehicle wasn't very wide and the connectors got hung up at times. What worked for me was to take a wire coat hanger, straighten it, and use it pull the wire down and up on the other side. Once I did that, it was easy to fish the wires through. The other issue I had was the zip ties that came with the harness were too small to attach to the areas under my vehicle. I had some larger zip ties on hand, and I used them to secure the wiring under my vehicle. I purchased an electrical 4 pole tester at an auto parts store and the harness worked great. I also purchased Part 18144 Mounting Bracket 4 pole flat that I attached to my trailer hitch and ran this harness through. I'm glad I did as it secures the 4 pole connector and looks clean next to the hitch. I look forward to using this and would recommend this product to anyone as it was easy to install. My difficulties were not with the product but with the constraints of my vehicle.

Saturn Outlook

Product worked at fit perfectlly. Video was extremely helpful for installation on Saturn Outlook. I deviated from video on ground wire because I didn't want to drill a hole inside the taillight housing since the power liftgate motor was directly behind it, so I separated the ground wire from the rest of the loom for about two feet and grounded the wire on a lip of metal underneath the vehicle. Everything works perfectly and fits like factory. I also received the wiring much quicker than expected (three days). Overall very satisfied.

These guys are awesome! You are very well informed about your order promptly after you place it. Your order is then shipped quickly, very quickly, and tracked to your door. The trailer wiring harness I ordered for my 2007 Saturn Outlook is exactly what U-Ha** and Autoz*** wanted to sell me for $70+ I accomplished installation with the help of the DIY video on the eTrailer web page. I'm all thumbs and I still accomplished installation in less than 20 minutes without injuring myself of setting the vehicle on fire. These guys are awesome. I WILL definitely be purchasing from them again.

This harness was very easy to install and worked great. Took about 20 min to install. I did cut off the 4pin connector and wired it to a 7pin plug I bought and mounted on the truck so there would be no need for an adapter.

Ordered a wiring harness for our Outlook. The video guides that etrailer provides gave me the confidence to do the install myself.

Order was shipped quickly and prodcut was as described. The whole process from search, to order, to installed was only about 3 days. Great company and very helpful. Would certainly recommend to friends.

2009 Saturn Outlook

I ordered my hitch for my Saturn Outlook on 9/27 and received it on 10/4. I took a little longer than 30 minutes due to cleaning out one of the pre-tapped bolt holes took longer. The wiring was also easy to install.

I would recommend etrailer for all trailer needs.

This wiring worked out perfect for my wife’s car. We have used it multiple times for pulling our trailer. Highly recommend. Easy to install.

2010 Saturn Outlook

The trailer light wiring was shipped quickly. The product was easy to install. The video online was very helpful. I would definitely order from etrailer.com again.

Very easy to install. No wiring is necessary, just plug and chug. Only tricky part is fishing wire up to the lights, but not a problem if you have a wire coat hanger.

by:
2010 Saturn Outlook

Works great except 2 out of 4 of the T-Connections do not lock in place. These could easily fall out causing the vehicle and trailer lights to fail. I had to reinforce with zip ties. Otherwise, the product is great.

Received the product promptly and was as advertised. The installation instructions were easy to understand and follow. Worked the first time.

Great product and fast shipping.

2008 Saturn Outlook

The kit worked. Installation was not great - The connectors did not fit snugly and kept falling out - had to reinforce. The green wire was not quite long enough - a little tight. Otherwise, it does the job.

This Harness arrived very fast and after watching a video I found of my vehicle on etrailor you tube, instillation was a breeze.
I will recommend this site to all my friends.

Easy to install, works great. However the plug that fits the tail light does not lock in to place, I needed to use electrical tape to prevent it from working its self loose.

by:

We ordered our hitch and wiring on a Monday night and had everything installed by Saturday. What fast service and everything was just as promised! I would highly recommend etrailer.com.

by:

Easy to install and works great. Only issue I had was running behind the body panels. It's a tight fit in some spots. Other than that, it functions great.

2015 Saturn Outlook

I was able to teach my 15 year old son how to install this in 20 minutes. It doesn't get any easier than this. Great product, would recommend to anyone with a Outlook.

by:
2008 Saturn Outlook

Easy to install and loved the video instructions.

This harness works good, I would say that the way the ends are wired makes it a bit difficult to fish them through the rather small openings in the bottom of the taillight recesses.

  • Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2010 Saturn Outlook without Factory Tow Package
Since your 2010 Saturn Outlook did not come with a factory tow package you will need to use a T-one harness, # 118434, or Curt T-connector # C56025. These harnesses plug in line with the vehicle tail light wiring. I have included links to the installation instructions for both harnesses for you.

  • How many Tail Lights Can the Tow Ready T-One Harness for the 2007 Saturn Outlook Handle
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118434 you referenced draws power from the tail light circuit on your 2007 Saturn Outlook to power the tail lights of the trailer. So basically it comes down to what load your vehicle is capable of handling. You could check the tail light fuse of your vehicle to see what the amperage on the fuse is and subtract the amperage draw of your tail lights to see what you have left. If you have a basic trailer with the standard amount of clearance and tail lights...

  • 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for 2008 Saturn Outlook
If you had a 7-way on your 2008 Saturn Outlook you would most likely know it. It would be a round trailer connector that looks like the # 37185. For a 4-way trailer wiring harness that fits your 2008 Saturn Outlook you'd want the part # 118434 which is a custom fit for your vehicle. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.

  • Trailer Running Lamps Blowing Fuse on 2009 Saturn Outlook
It sounds like you have a short in the running light circuit on your trailer. Each incandescent tail light will pull approximately 2 amps, with the marker lights pulling .05 amps apiece. Your current lighting configuration is not pulling enough amperage to short out the harness or the circuit feeding it. Typically, the running lamp circuit uses a brown wire. Trace this circuit back from the trailer connector back toward the lamps. Look for pinched wires or spots where the wire insulation...

  • Brake and Turn Signals Not Working on a Trailer Towed by a 2007 Saturn Outlook
Even if your 2007 Saturn Outlook has the same connector that goes with # 118384 it is possible that the connection on the vehicle is not fully functional. The vehicle would have to have come from the factory with a 7-Way trailer connector for # 118384 to work properly. What you need is the T1 harness, # 118434 that you referenced. This harness plugs in line with each of the tail lights and provides a 4-Way trailer connector. I have included a link to the installation details and a link...

  • Which Trailer Wiring Option for 2009 Saturn Outlook
I've provided a photo of the harness that might be under the vehicle. It's usually found above or next to the spare tire, and will have a plug in the end of it to keep out road debris. The plug might not be present on vehicles not equipped with the tow package. If you find the plug part # 118384 would be an easy way to install a 4-pole trailer connector. The Hopkins # HM40975 would provide both a 7-way and a 4-pole. If the plug isn't present, either the # 118434 or the # C56025 T-One connectors...

As long as you have a trailer hitch on your 2007 Saturn Outlook with a 1-1/4 inch or 2 inch receiver you can use the Rola TX-103 3 Bike Carrier 59403. This bike rack measures 10 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the upright bar which should leave plenty of room between the rack and your vehicle. • No Trailer Running Lights After adding 4-Way Wiring and a 7-Way Adapter on a 2007 Saturn Outlook
The First thing I would do is make sure that the ground wire from the wiring harness, # 118434, and the ground wire from the Adapter, # 30717, are attached to good ground locations that are free of paint, primer, and corrosion on your 2007 Saturn Outlook. It sounds like you may have already done this, so once you are sure the grounds on the vehicle are good, make sure the connections between the left side taillight and vehicle wiring harness are fully seated and locked in place. The left...
