Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna be taking a look at Coghlan's Bottle Carrier with Carabiner. And this bottle carrier with Carabiner is a really easy way to take a drink with you on your hike or on your walk without taking up space on the pack that would be on your back. So, it's a nice hands-free way to take your drink with you. I took something that you probably shouldn't take on a hike with you.

It's probably not the most healthy option, but I got a Coke bottle here. And, this neck on this bottle is right at an inch a little bit, a little bit less than an inch. So this is a design, for something just a little bit bigger than that. It's a collar that fits bottles up to about one and a quarter inches. But just to kind of give you an idea of what this looks like, the collar fits around the neck of your bottle, and that makes it secure.

So then you can hang it on the back of your backpack for easy access. Let me go ahead and get this off of this bottle here and let's take a closer look at it together. You see that this has an included ring for a key, which is very handy, when you're going hiking you don't want to take all of your keys with you. So if you throw your Car key, a Key Fob for your vehicle, or maybe even your House key or Apartment key, this is a good place to hang that. So you have easy access to that.

And you can throw that on with your bottle as well and secure this with this Carabiner on your pack. And it's got a nice tight spring enclosure to make sure that it is secure on your pack. Again, you don't want to use a Carabiner like this for climbing, that's not rated for that. You want to make sure that, if you are looking for a Carabiner for climbing, that you have one that is rated for that. I do want to mention that you probably would not want to get a bottle much heavier than a normal water bottle or something like a soda bottle, because I don't believe this strap would be able to endure that for an extended period of time with the shaking back and forth on the back of your pack.

So just be mindful of that. Something that it's not too heavy, I think this would be a good fit for, as you are looking to save some space on your pack by carrying a drink with you.
