Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and today we're going to be taking a look at the GSI Outdoors Double-Sided Spice Rack. This is a great way to bring all the spices with you while you're enjoying the outdoors and be able to spice up all your foods that you might be catching, or at least just bringing with you. Let's take a closer look at these little guys and make sure that they're going to be the right fit for you. They do also come with some labels, so you can keep everything straight and they have those pre printed there. A lot of common spices you might be bringing with you, including salt, pepper, cinnamon, sage, or sugar reading upside down, garlic, oregano time, Rosemary, sage, parsley, onion, Faisal, coco, paprika, chili, cumin, ginger, and dill.
Then you also have a few blank ones as well, if you want to throw in some more exotic spices than that, like maybe some turmeric, or Tarragon, or any other kinds of spices and herbs.Basically it's just going to be these three little containers. You'll have one black cap that's usually going to denote your pepper. The other ones can be anything that you want, including that one, it doesn't have to just be pepper. Open that up, shake out your spices, put the cap back on, and then you're good to go. You don't have to keep this attached.
It's just held together by this little rubbery piece, it helps to keep them all from just flying all over the place. You can take it off I promise. It's just fighting me now, of course, now that you're watching, there we go. So you take that off, put your seasonings on as you want to, or as you're cooking and spice it up.There's a one side that's a little bit bigger than the other on all of these. You can kind of pick your favorites and put whatever you want.
The tab, just a little bit more of that one. Still going to give you enough for some good seasonings, On the other side, if I had to take a guess, it looks like the smaller side can maybe hold about a tablespoon and I'd say the bigger side can maybe hold about a tablespoon and a half. That's just a rough estimate for these guys. They do have a little screen to prevent everything from just completely falling out, so lets you ration out how much you're using..There we go. Put that up.
Something that I think was kind of clever, as far as these labels, they are curved a little bit. It should match with this kind of cylindrical or conical style of shape there, and should make a great addition to your pack. As far as the size with all of them connected together, it's roughly five inches and then about two and three quarter inches. Each one is about one and three-eighths inch in diameter at the top, altogether, it weighs about 3.5 ounces. That's about all there is to it for our look at the double-sided spice rack. I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right piece for you. We do have a lot of other cooking and camping utensils here at etrailer.com, so check them out. Thanks for watching..
