Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at this PTC custom fit cabin, air filter. Now a cabin air filter, probably one of those things that you don't frequently think about, but it is important to change this out about every 12,000 to 18,000 miles or about once a year, depending on where you live. If you are live on a gravel road or out in the desert somewhere, you might have to change it out more frequently because the dust will build up. But it is a good idea to change this out so that your air flowing into your heating and air conditioning system is going to be cleaner for you.
So it's not blowing dirt and debris into your face. So that's going to help with your heating and air conditioning system so that those particles aren't building up potentially causing problems down the road. Now this is a custom fit, but it does fit a wide range of vehicles. So it's gonna fit many different year ranges and models of the Chevrolet, Dodge, Ram, Nissan, Volkswagen and Infiniti vehicles. But if this is a fit, it's going to be very easy to get this installed. Basically just have to remove the old filter, put this one in its place. It does have the air flow indicator on there so that you can see which way it's supposed to be oriented and make sure that's going in the same direction that the current one is in, so that that's going to flow through there. And this is a charcoal treated media particulate. That's going to help filter out over 90% of your outside pollutants, including dust smoke, bacteria, pollen, mold spores, carbon monoxide, as well as odors and harmful gases.
So there's going to be a really efficient, good way of making sure that all that is going to be filtered out instead of blowing in your face. Now, for those of you who want a little more reassurance, that this is going to work for you, you can take a look at the part numbers that you see on the screen there. This is an exact replacement for those part numbers. So if you're going through your owner's manual, or you pull out your current filter and you see any of those numbers. Then you can trust, this is going to work for you. And this does meet the ISO 9001 9002 9003 standards, as well as the QS9000 certified standards. So it is going to do a good job for you. It's high quality filter, but like I said, it is very easy to get this switched out. So definitely not something that you need to have a mechanic do you for you, even if you're not very mechanically inclined, this is one of the most basic ways that you can help maintain your vehicle. While the Filter seems acceptable, the [online] video etrailer has on-line showing how to DIY install/replace and access the filter is incomplete and a bad source of how to do it. In it, the information on a simple procedure like removing the glove box to get at the filter housing completely neglects to tell an Acadia owner it is necessary to easily disconnect the left-side of the glove box from the swivel restraint which takes two seconds. That earned the one star review and caused me to finally source other, complete and accurate [online] videos on how to do it.
All products came together in one package. Shipping time was fair. As always, etrailer was great for getting exactly what I needed.
Shipping cost is poo; added the items I needed for my car to negate that mess.
I like it has carbon filter to better screen out outside impurities. It was more stiff than the original cabin filter making it harder to insert.

I haven't installed the product but it looks identical to the factory installed one. Its a compartment filter for 2019 Sienna. Delivery was on time as promised.
