Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at this PTC custom fit cabin air filter. Now a cabin air filter's probably not one of those things that you think about a whole lot, but it is very important to switch this out about every 12,000 to 18,000 miles, or about once a year, depending on the environment that you live in. The reason for that is because this is going to do a great job of helping to filter out any particles and pollutants that are in the air that's coming into your vehicle, so those aren't being blown into your face. And it's also going to help to keep your heating and air conditioning system cleaner, so that you don't have a buildup of those particles and potentially causing corrosion over time. This is a custom fit for your 2018 through 2020 Lexus LC 500 and the LC 500H.
So if you do have a Lexus LC 500 or 500H, and it's been a while since you've changed out your cabin air filter, this is going to be a great option. This is definitely one of the easiest things you can do to maintain your vehicle. It's definitely not something that you need to pay a mechanic to do for you, you can very easily switch this out for your current filter. Basically just pull the old filter out, put this one in its place. You can see it does have an airflow indicator there, so you do wanna make sure that you're putting this in in the same orientation as the original.
But this is a nice high quality filter. It meets the ISO 9001, 9002, 9003, and the QS9000 certified standards, so you can trust it's gonna do a good job of filtering out the dust, smoke, bacteria, pollen, mold spores, carbon monoxide, to make sure that that's not being blown into your vehicle. Now, for those of you who do need a little bit more reassurance that this is going to work for your Lexus, you can see those part numbers on the screen there. This is going to be an exact replacement for those. So if you're looking through your owner's manual or you see any of those numbers on the current filter that you have, you can trust this going to be exactly what you need so that you can switch that out and have cleaner air in your vehicle.

While the Filter seems acceptable, the [online] video etrailer has on-line showing how to DIY install/replace and access the filter is incomplete and a bad source of how to do it. In it, the information on a simple procedure like removing the glove box to get at the filter housing completely neglects to tell an Acadia owner it is necessary to easily disconnect the left-side of the glove box from the swivel restraint which takes two seconds. That earned the one star review and caused me to finally source other, complete and accurate [online] videos on how to do it.
All products came together in one package. Shipping time was fair. As always, etrailer was great for getting exactly what I needed.
Shipping cost is poo; added the items I needed for my car to negate that mess.
I like it has carbon filter to better screen out outside impurities. It was more stiff than the original cabin filter making it harder to insert.

I haven't installed the product but it looks identical to the factory installed one. Its a compartment filter for 2019 Sienna. Delivery was on time as promised.
