Today we're going to review part #yr8302-5. This is the Yates spool roller for boat trailers. This roller is constructed of a heavy duty rubber material. This roller will replace a worn out spool roller on your boat trailer. This will ease in loading and unloading of the boat. It does support the keel of the boat as it sits on the trailer and it will help absorb road shock while the boat is being towed.
A few dimensions on this roller. Overall length is 7 and 5/8 in length and the diameter is 3 inches. This spool roller is designed to fit on an 8 inch bracket that uses a 5/8 inch diameter shaft. And that should do it for part #: yr8302-5.

Best price I could find so I order some rubber rollers thru etrailer. They were delivered ahead of schedule and seem to be good quality. I am using them to slide a ladder behind a storage shed and not for a boat trailer. But they work perfectly. Etrailer seems very concerned about customer satisfaction which is nice for a change.
Refurbishing a 44 year old trailer, I was really pleased to find each of the three rollers I needed, plus a bow guard and pal nuts. Other sites did not have as great a selection. Prices were good. Shipment came very quickly.

Not as good as I thought it would. It is wearing hard already. Only after a year of use.
