Today, we're going to take a look at the Seaflo 12 volt washdown pump kit.Now, this is a heavy-duty washdown kit that'll help you clean your boat, your fish box, your anchor wells, and other marine applications. The kit will include everything shown here on the table. Includes a self-priming water pump, a 20-foot long coiled hose with the hose quick connector, the spray gun, the filter, and the two hose fittings, 1/2 inch female by 3/4 inch barb.Now, this self-priming pump will eliminate air binding by removing air from the pipeline. And the unit is capable of self-priming up to six-foot lift.
Does have a pressure switch right here that'll let you adjust from 17 to 70 PSI. And the motor itself is a multi-step corrosion protection and a seamless motor body for actual protection in wet environments. Has an on-demand switch that allow you to turn the pump on just by using the spray gun. Gives you a continuous duty cycle. Allows the pump to provide constant water flow without cycling.
And the spray gun range is about 33 feet.The coiled hose we've mentioned stretches to 20 feet and it is suitable for freshwater and saltwater applications. Does come with, like we mentioned, the hose quick connector. Basically, we just screw this onto the end of your hose and then makes it very easy to attach your spray gun. You just push in and it's connected. To release it, just pull down on it and you can release it.
So, a nice quick hose connector there. Also comes with the filter we mentioned. That'll screw on to where your water's coming in, there's your outlet. So, you'll just put this on there, and then you'll have your two hose connectors that you'll attach to this end, attach to that end and have your water hose go through there.A few specs on this. The voltage on this motor is 12 volts DC.
The flow is 5.5 gallons per minute. Maximum power draw of 15 amps. Maximum water temperature, 140 degrees Fahrenheit. And we mentioned the maximum pressure setting of 70 PSI. The inlet and outlet ports are the 1/2 inch male thread.A few dimensions on this. We'll do the pump then the mounting dimensions. So, the overall length on this pump from one end to the other is going to be right at 8 and 1/2 inches long. The width, which will be the widest point where these connectors are is going to be right at 5 and 3/4 inches wide. And then the height at the very tallest point is 5 and 3/16 inches tall. The mounting base, the plate here, see it has the four rubber bumpers so when you install it, keeps it nice and quiet. The mounting hole dimensions center to center. If we go across this way, it's right at 3 and 3/16 inches wide and about 2 and 1/4 inches that way.But that should do it for the review on the Seaflo 12 volt washdown pump kit.

On-demand switch allows you to turn the pump on by using the spray gun.This is a sturdy, well built unit. At 5.5 GPM, and 70PSI with all the needed fittings, cant wait to install on my new boat. Having a reliable on board wash unit, will more than meet my needs for fishing, and recreational purposes. An exceptional warranty covers this well built product. If you have the need for a on board wash unit, then I can only say for the $$ this is the best on the market.
I have been using the wash down for about 1 year and still no problem. Past washdown pumps I have purchased last about 1 year and failed. I gave up on them. I really needed a washdown system for the boat and decide to try again. I found the Seaflo washdown system with 4 year warranty and decide to try it. No problems so far at 1 year use. The washdown system was used alot with no problems. I'm interested to see if it will last longer than 1 year and then give my opinion on this washdown system.

Can you be more specific about why the washdown kit stopped working or what happened when it stopped working? I am happy to assist. This part does have a 4-year warranty so I will send you that information for your reference.

Reliable product. I wired this up, so it has a on off switch. It will also sit in ready mode, once it build pressure and nozzle is not in use. I have used it several times to spray the kids after tubing, and also to fill and clean my live well. Very powerful, and has a good volume of water output. Absolutely love it, and it has made the perfect addition to my boat.
