Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Hellwig adjustable rear anti-sway bar for your Chevrolet and GMC trucks. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 trucks. Now, this anti-sway bar will let you minimize side-to-side movement, helps improve overall stability of your vehicle.

It'll let you execute turns and quick maneuvers with confidence. It even allows for a nice level ride even on irregular surfaces, and it'll reduce driver fatigue 'cause it'll minimize the effort that's required to keep your vehicle in line. On the end of the sway bar, there is three adjustment holes that allow you to choose the degree of stiffness. It does include everything shown here on the table, the anti-sway bar, all the black powder coated mounting brackets, the zinc-plated mounting hardware even gives you a little tube of bushing lubricant, and a nice set of easy to follow instructions that'll describe how this all goes together. Now, this does come with the polyurethane bushings and I wanna talk about those because these are used instead of the standard rubber variety, gives you a lot longer lasting system.

The polyurethane bushings that are used are durable and resistant to damage that can be caused by oil, gas, and ozone. And, of course, less wear means less give in your system and better support. Also, normally when you use polyurethane bushings on a sway bar, the grease that's used on the installation dries out over time and the bushings will squeak. So what Hellwig's decided to do to eliminate that, if you look at the finish on the bar, they use a silver vein hammer tone finish on the sway bars. And what it consists of is these small divots in the finish.

And those divots will help keep the grease in the bushings and keep the polyurethane bushings greased to eliminate any noise. Now, this bar is constructed of a thick 4140 chromoly steel for superior strength. The diameter of the bar is 1-1/4 inches and it is designed to fit your vehicle and work in conjunction with its suspension system. Basically, it'll attach to the rear axle and to the chassis, and it uses the weight of the axle to brace the frame as it shifts and turns. Does avoid interference with most of your popular aftermarket add-ons and accessories.

And as we mentioned, again, when you install this, the instructions will describe which hole to put it in for what stiffness you're trying to achieve. And this part is made in the USA.
