Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this precut steel backing plate for single axle trailer fender. Now, this backing plate will protect the side of your single axle trailer from any water or road debris by using this fender backing plate on the fender. You can see it as precut to fit and easily weld onto your single axle fender. And this one is specifically designed to fit a single axle trailer fender that has a 90 degree back lip on the fender.
Meaning it'll give us, the fender will have the back lip that goes mounts onto the trailer will have a 90 degree lip on it. And that edge will give you an area to where you could weld this backing plate to it. Now, we do sell the fender separately on our website that this part will fit on. It's part number HP56VR. And it's usually listed on this product page as a related product.
Now, this will also fit other fenders that have a length of 32 inches and a height of 15 inches. As I mentioned, it's a weld-on installation. It is an 18 gauge steel construction. It is made in the USA. It is for a quantity of one backing plate.
And the last thing I wanna do is just give you the measurements on this backing plate itself. So, if we do the length. The length from one end to the other is right at 31 inches. And if we do the height. Overall height.
