Speaker 1: Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement E-coat mounting bracket for the Kodiak disc brake caliper on the 8000 pound Al-Ko axles. Now this caliper mounting bracket will mount to your trailer axle, and then it holds the disc brake caliper. This is a heavy-duty ductile iron construction. This one has a nice E-coat finish to provide corrosion resistance for freshwater and limited saltwater use. They do use the embossed bolt holes up here to provide extra thread contact for your caliper guide bolts. It'll give you a nice, tight, secure connection between the bracket and the caliper.

This does use side support to ensure that the load is carried by the bracket, not just the bolts. They do use stiffeners to reduce vibration when you brake, and it is a universal design. This will work for either the left hand or right hand four-bolt brake flanges. This part is made in the USA. Again, the application, this is for calipers on disc brakes with over the hub rotors or one piece hub and rotor assemblies.

The axles it's designed to fit on is an 8000 pound Al-Ko axle. The rotors that will be used on this are 13 inch diameter rotors.The brake flange configuration, you can see, is the four hole brake flange. And just to measure that, to give you the measurements on that. The center to center horizontal measurement is gonna be right at 3 3/4 inches. Same on the bottom holes.

And then on the vertical, the same, 3 3/4 inches. The axle hole here, diameter, goes over the axle. Diameter of that opening is right at 4 1/4 inches. But that should do it for the review on the replacement E-coat mounting bracket for the Kodiak disc brake caliper on the 8000 pound Al-Ko axles.
