Today we're going to take a look at the InfiniteRule lock set for the Gen Y 21,000 pound adjustable ball mounts for three inch hitches. It's for a quantity of two locks. Now these are flush style locking pins, that'll replace the standard pins on your Gen Y 21,000 pound adjustable ball mounts. Use one of the pins to secure the ball mount to your three inch trailer hitch, and use the additional pin to secure the ball mount platform to the ball mount.These are a heavy-duty rust resistant stainless steel construction. They do use an O ring here. When the head comes off, there's an O ring that you'll see.

I'm going to take this off in a minute and show you. But the O ring on the inside will protect your internal components from any dirt or grime getting in the lock. If you notice on the end they have these rubber weather resistant tethered dust covers to keep the water and debris out of the key ways of the lock. And the lock cores on both of these are keyed alike. It does come with two keys.

And this part is made in the USA.But basically to install it, just put your key in there and to unlock it, just turn it like you're loosening a bolt. And once you get it enough the head will come off and then you're ready to install it. Here's that O-ring I was mentioning. You can see the red O-ring right here, that'll help seal it. So when you go to install this, you run this through when it comes through the other end, put the head on it, and then just twist your key like you're tightening the bolt to take that back on.

And once it tightens up, just snug it down, back it off just a little bit. Take the key off, put the cap on, and you're all locked, ready to go. Simple as that.Again, the application on these is for the Gen Y 21,000 pound adjustable ball mount for three inches. This will also fit the Gen Y auto latch gooseneck coupler lock. Now the sheer strength on these is the sheer is 42,000 pounds.

And its sheer strength is always determined by placing this locking pin in the stress position and then they subjected to increasing force until required proof load is met, or the pin fails. Both of these locks have met a sheer strength of 42,000 pounds. Pin diameter is 55/8 of an inch. And the dimension on the pins, they are the same. So the overall length will be 6-1/4 inches. Inside pin length or span is 3-5/8 inches. And it's the same one both of them. And this is for a quantity of two locks with the two keys.
