Solution for Extang Express Replacement Parts on 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 Short Bed
What you have on your 2008 Chevy Silverado 1500 is the Extang Express 50725. The # EX49725 is the correct replacement tarp, but it does not include the rails. Unfortunately, the front cab rail you looked at is for a different model of this tonneau cover and won't work. The tail rail assembly is also not available and Extang no longer makes these parts. This means you're looking at a whole new tonneau cover. Assuming you want to stick with a soft roll-up cover, I recommend the TruXedo...
